Pre-Workout Energy Bites
- 1 cup sunflower butter
- 1 cup almond butter or peanut butter
- 1/4 cup chopped roasted almonds
- 1/4 cup ground flax seeds
- 3/4 cup honey or agave nectar
- 2/3 cup vanilla protein powder
- 1-2 cups raw medium shredded coconut
- 1/4 cup oat bran
Mix together all ingredients except coconut in large mixing bowl. Mix well. Using a spoon, scoop out tablespoon-sized balls from the mixture, roll with hands to create small balls.
In a separate dish, spread out shredded coconut. Roll each bite in coconut. Enjoy!
