Pre-Workout Energy Bites


  • 1 cup sunflower butter
  • 1 cup almond butter or peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped roasted almonds
  • 1/4 cup ground flax seeds
  • 3/4 cup honey or agave nectar
  • 2/3 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1-2 cups raw medium shredded coconut
  • 1/4 cup oat bran


  1. Mix together all ingredients except coconut in large mixing bowl. Mix well. Using a spoon, scoop out tablespoon-sized balls from the mixture, roll with hands to create small balls.
  2. In a separate dish, spread out shredded coconut. Roll each bite in coconut. Enjoy!
